RUAG Announces New Business in Chile

Swiss aerospace and defence firm RUAG announced on 22 May that its aviation division, RUAG Aviation, had signed a teaming agreement with Chilean aerospace company ENAER.
According to RUAG, the two companies will look to leverage potential opportunities in a variety of sectors, focusing on aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), upgrades, and lifecycle support for both civil and military customers, including the Chilean Air Force.
 
COMMENT
RUAG's MRO capabilities extend to a number of platforms operated by the Chilean armed forces, including the Northrop Grumman F-5F Tiger II, Airbus Helicopters AS 332B Super Puma, and AS 532 Cougar, as well as Boeing 737 aircraft that are used for executive transport.
